Hearing a Holocaust Survivor Speak
Holocaust survivor Tomi Reichental spoke to hundreds of senior students throughout Ireland, recounting his childhood experiences of the Holocaust. This was one of the most significant programs we offered through Holocaust Education Ireland. Although Tomi has taken a step back from speaking in schools, we encourage interested teachers to register for our Living History programme to hear about the experiences of 2nd and 3rd generation survivors.
Holocaust Education Ireland facilitated Zoom talks delivered by Tomi Reichental, a Holocaust survivor who has been living in Ireland since 1959. Tomi is a nationally renowned speaker, recounting his experience of the Holocaust and its significance to thousands of school students and teachers every year.
Following on from Tomi’s retirement, we are launching the Living History programme in September 2024. Find out more about the programme below!
